3 Natural Fungal Remedies For The Skin

If, for some reason, you don't have any commercially made or prescription fungal cream available at home, you can still cure a fungal infection on your skin. Fungal infections of the skin can be treated by using the following ingredients:

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil contains median-chain fatty acids. Median-chain fatty acids are natural fungus fighters and this makes them ideal for curing a fungal infection. Here is how you should use the coconut oil:

  1. Use extra virgin coconut oil and rub it on the area affected by fungus.
  2.  Let the area air dry.
  3. Use the treatment three times per day until the infection is gone.

Tea

Tea is an excellent remedy for a fungal infection of the skin. This is because tea contains tannins. Tannins get rid of fungal infections fast. Here is how you should go about using this excellent remedy for a fungal infection of the skin:

  1. Soak some teabags in some warm water for about ten minutes.
  2. Once you remove them from the water put them in the fridge for at least half an hour.
  3. Place the teabags on the infected area of your skin.
  4. Let it stay there for about half an hour.
  5. Repeat the treatment three times per day until the infection is gone.

Garlic

When it comes to destroying fungus there are few remedies that can beat the power of garlic. You can use this treatment in this way:

  1. Get two cloves of garlic and crush them thoroughly.
  2. Add a little olive oil to the garlic and create a paste.
  3. Rub the paste on the affected area.
  4. Leave it on the area for at least half an hour,
  5. Wash off the area with some warm water and gently dry it.
  6. Repeat the entire process two times a day for best results.

In addition to using garlic topically you can speed up the results of this fungal treatment by adding garlic to your food. If you can't pallet garlic, there are garlic supplements that you can take instead.

Most of the remedies discussed may already be in your home. If you follow the instructions given and use each remedy on a daily basis, you are sure to see your skin infection heal very quickly. If you continue to see issues, however, you should reach out to a dermatologist. They'll be able to figure out what's causing your skin issues and to offer you advice on clearing up any infections.
