Have you realized that you often, or even always, feel sluggish and a bit lethargic? Perhaps you look at yourself in the mirror and you see a person that doesn't have the glow that comes with living a healthy lifestyle. If this is true, you might have decided that it's time to make some pretty big changes in your lifestyle. From doing a thorough evaluation of what you eat to switching from coffee to green tea, here are some ideas that might help you to start feeling like your healthy self again.
Do A Thorough Evaluation - Think about sitting down with pencil and paper to write down an assessment of what your daily life is like. For example, write down how often you go to fast food restaurants. How many treats like donuts and other sweets do you consume daily? Are you getting enough sleep and exercise? And, honestly, how many cups of coffee do you drink a day, perhaps even to just get your body's motor running before you leave your house. Have you been successful in smoking cessation? After you have written down every single detail of things like what you eat and drink and how much exercise and sleep you get, proceed with a plan.
Make A Plan - Do some research about how you can live a healthier life. Consider taking classes at your local library, at a school or even at a nearby hospital that will teach you how to be healthy. Try new things. For instance, have you ever tried green tea foods? Think about totally eliminating your coffee and mocha, even for just a week, and drink green tea during that week instead. You can more than likely buy matcha egcg green tea products at most groceries stores and at health food stores. Think about starting your day with a cup of green tea. Then make enough that you can keep in your refrigerator to drink throughout the day. Instead of using sugar to sweeten it, think about using honey or a natural sugar substitute, maybe stevia, to give the green tea the sweetness you like. Or, don't sweeten it at all.
As you continue with your healthy lifestyle, think about keeping a journal of the things you eat, how many hours of sleep you get and how many miles you walk in a day. it will probably amaze you to see how much better you are feeling since you made important health changes in your life.
